Our first project idea was a visualization were you would have a map of earth in which you could choose a country and get the top 10 movies made in that country based on ratings.
Our second project idea, which is our minimal viable product, is still a map of earth, but there will be a search bar were you can search for a movie title and see the distribution of box office gross from each country. The visualization will be to have each country have a hue depending on the amount of box office gross.

Possible improvements
- For each country
- Show top 10 (or more) films based on total box office gross
- Show top 10 best rated films made in that country
- Chose a year
- Chose what will be shown at each country
- Each country will have a color representing the total box gross from all the top 10 films
Our main source of data is omdbapi.com. We can anything from movie titles, what year it was made to the ratings of that movie, from sources like IMDB, Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes.

Another inspiration
We talked a lot about the presentation and who would say what, and also about the work distribution. We're still not one hundred percent sure how we will be distributed.
